Review on 🍳 1000W Electric Stand Mixer with Tilt-Head, 6-Speed Food Mixer for Kitchen, Stainless Steel Bowl, Mixing Beater, Whisk, Dough Hook, Scraper & Splash Guard by John Clarey

The description is misleading at best, an outright lie at worst.

Didn't even open the box. With years of experience using stand mixers, I needed a second one for a project that needed to be used 3-4 times a week. I had no illusions that the blenders would last much longer. When I received it, even in the shipping box, I could tell that the motor was too light and most likely every part of the drive was plastic. The 1000w motor alone weighs more than the entire setup. The misleading part may be true (I really doubt it) that the motor is rated for 1000 watts, but it should be unloaded, ie. only with attached drive shaft. My guess is that if I soldered the body so it could never turn, and I held the shaft by the dough hook, I didn't let the motor turn. I would do it to prove my point, but I bet I can't give it back. This device was lighter than the well-made hand mixers of 1995 when they were made of plastic. I assume all 5 star reviews are written by people who are just starting to cook. The device mixes the cake, if it is not very dense, it can bake bread 2-3 times, but it will burn out quickly. If you bought one and all you want to do is mix the pancake mix, then I think this will do what you need, at least for a while. If, like me, you're looking for a despicable measure, this might suit you. If you want a device that will last you for years, save your money until you have 3-4 times more and buy a suitable device from one of the top 4 manufacturers, even their budget devices which are around $200 cost, last ten years. regular use.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
