This product is advertised as compatible with Harbor Breeze fans. I figured I could use it right out of the box. Put in a 9 volt battery and the remote will not work. does not work with fan. The manual for the remote control says it has 16 switches inside, but don't tell me which switch makes it work with my ceiling fan! In order for the "universal remote control" to work, I need to rip open the ceiling fan (which is already attached to the ceiling, by the way) and match its switch position to the universal remote control. Don't buy this crap.
