Review on Dritz Invisible Thread 150 Yard Clear by Michelle Langley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Definitely buy back

It's a bit tricky to work with at first because you can't see anything and the strings are all in the way, but once you get the hang of it everything works great. Great for hand sewing, no idea about sewing machines. Super thin, thinner than cord but very stretchy and very difficult to break which is great, in fact I haven't been able to break any even with aggressive tension. The only downside is that you have to work in bright light or a lamp, which makes it easier to see. *** For people frustrated with figuring out where a string begins, this is exactly the same as many other strings. You peel off the top sticker and the beginning of the cord clips into a small cut in the rim. Then use the needle to pull out the wedged end of the thread. It's not hard to find if you know where to look. Another tip: stretch the fabric before sewing the end. The thread should "blow" a bit and look a bit odd, but if you don't and lay the thread perfectly flat, the ends will be too short and look puckered when you turn the fabric inside out. I will definitely buy. Again because it's great for hand sewing and I'd rather buy it than collect a few different colors of thread.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
