I already have a medium sized Sherpa with Delta logos. While my 13 pound Maltese mix fit in a medium sized carrier, it was awkward to turn or lay down, so we bought this larger carrier. Went like clockwork! My little dog was able to roll over, roll over, stand up and lie down. He felt comfortable throughout the flight. We flew Americans and had no problems either in first class or on the bus. I would say the only downside is that you have to sacrifice legroom to give your pup more floor space. The shoulder strap was comfortable and didn't dig into the shoulders. The handle is well padded and equipped with durable knobs. Buddy tried to get out of the stroller but the net held him back. A fairly large back pocket was just the right size to store his vet papers, collapsible bowl and leash. The top flap was handy for giving him treats or stroking him while he was flying and the front opening was great for letting him out quickly. The zippers were strong and well made. This carrier saved a life.
