My towel collection is rather haphazard; I'm not sure I have a matching "set" of anything. When Revain Vine offered me these six white towels (two bath sizes each, hand towels and washcloths), it was easy to say yes. After all, can you have too many towels? My immediate concern was the size of the bath towels. I prefer bath towels, partly because we both have long hair and a standard size towel can be tight. But at 32 x 63 inches, they're fine. The towels are bamboo, which is a plus from an environmental point of view, but I was wondering what that meant in terms of towels. As it turns out, that's not a problem either, as they feel like soft cotton and can be washed in the washing machine just like that. In fact, I forgot it was bamboo until I double-checked the product listing before writing this review. Decorative embroidery doesn't bother either; I came across spiky decorations, so I'm happy to reassure you on the matter. However, what confuses me is that these towels are very thin. They got me thinking about the towels you can find in cheap hotels like the ones I've stayed in on long cross-country trips. You are in a place called Atlasta Motel and you really want to leave in the morning. BUT I WAS WRONG. These towels absorb water just as well (even for us long haired people) as our more expensive bath towels. This might deter you from showing them off as company towels when people come to visit, but they do their job of drying you off. In fact, they can be ideal if you have an apartment lifestyle where you need to lug around your laundry, or if you need to pack towels for a trip or gym as they don't take up much space. .In short: good towels, reasonable price.
