Revainrating 3 out of 5

A normal product, however, does not fully match the description.

Of the real pluses, I can single out the presence of a thunderball port. This is really handy when using a laptop as a mobile solution. Came to work, connected one wire and that's it. I can’t say anything about performance, because. This laptop is mainly used for working with documents, surfing the Internet and RDP connections. Most modern laptops can handle these tasks. In particular, I use it for system administration and its performance is enough for my tasks. I wanted more battery life and a better touchpad. These laptops were purchased by the company as workhorses and made a mixed impression. The laptop does not cause any kind of wow effect, just a well-assembled laptop, nothing more. If we consider a laptop "For myself", then I would hardly stop at this model, for their cost you can find laptops with a better screen and in a thinner case.

Pros
  • Among the advantages I can highlight: 1. not a lot of weight; 3. Monolithic body, although it is not made of metal, it looks and feels very strong. No backlash or creaks anywhere, besides, this case does not collect fingerprints. 4. Many ports, including a thunderbolt through which you can also charge your laptop 5. There is a webcam shutter. A trifle, but nice. 6. Pleasant backlighting of the keyboard, which does not hurt the eyes in the dark
Cons
  • The touchpad is annoying on this laptop. It is somehow too plastic and the finger does not slide very comfortably on it. I could not accustom myself to use the trackpoint, but this is a matter of taste and habit. I also can not call this laptop quiet. I have a version on the i7 processor and the cooler turns on at the slightest load, especially if the laptop is charging. And its sound is clearly audible. Another disadvantage is a bunch of pre-installed proprietary software. I don’t understand why such an amount is needed, if in fact you use only one to ate drivers.
