Let me start by saying that I was looking for a versatile shoulder bag for a very specific reason. I have a new baby and I find it too much to take a handbag with me in addition to the diaper bag. On the other hand, I hate stuffing my wallet in my diaper bag and digging it out to go shopping. So this shoulder bag solves this problem perfectly. My entire wallet plus lip balm and keys can be carried over my shoulder so it's accessible and doesn't add extra weight to lug around a baby, car seat and diaper bag. I have a Samsung Galaxy phone and it fits in the front zip. Pocket with case and pop socket on the back. Pretty amazing. I usually just keep it in my bag, so this purse bag is perfect for lip balm and my keychain. It seems like a minor thing, but I love that the real shoulder strap is made of faux leather instead of cotton. Cotton seems to get so dirty on the straps of all my other VB wallets and bracelets (as well as straps, keychains, backpacks, etc.) that I feel like this is left much cleaner and nicer. It was also easier to adjust the length than cotton, so that's a big win in my book! The only problem I have is with the pattern I chose. Itsy Ditsy is very cute but it has a dark blue background which I thought was black. Well I like the functionality and the design is still cute so I will use it in the fall and choose another one for the winter. In general, I strongly recommend studying the fabric pattern carefully beforehand :-)
