Waste of money, can be saved 10 times

Says the memory card is corrupt and nothing can be saved. This is after it hasn't had any issues for the few times it's been used. Now that the return time has passed, it's broken. Looks like a scam.

The map is garbage. - Nintendo Systems

I hardly used it. I only got it for Animal Crossing last year because it required a lot of saving. Maybe I used it for another game and it's already corrupted. How can a map become corrupt just because it's on the GameCube?

Do not worry. Just buy the real thing.

The memory card arrived today but I can't even use it. The Wii keeps saying that the memory card is corrupt and needs to be formatted. No matter how many times it has been formatted, it is unreadable on the Wii or GameCube. Very disappointed.

  • Quick change

This product didn't work for me Gamecube.

This product didn't work for me, GameCube couldn't see it. I don't know if I got a lemon or something but the light came on when I plugged it in. Gamecube just said nothing was connected. I went back and bought a different product.

  • New

Excellent value for money and quality. for legacy systems

I have over 60 games installed on it and there is still plenty of room. On the first memory card. I can't think of a scenario where you would need another memory card, except maybe to make copies and move them around more freely. I like the fact that there is an LED that shows the active memory card as well as the activity on it. Map. It's noticeable, but doesn't bother. Chances are, once it's on your system, you'll never need to touch this thing.

Works fine for us! the best in wii

I can't say we've fully tested this device but it works for us and we haven't had any issues. There are 4 x 128MB modules on a card, you press a button to toggle between the 128MB modules and there is an indicator to show which module is active. Make sure the system is powered off before switching between units. You get 3 save slots per game on a memory card, while here you get 3 per unit. Very useful if you want to save multiple games.

Pros
  • quality construction
Cons
  • expensive

Works great and lots of memory

Cheap, works great and lots of memory! There's a little button that actually takes you to different parts of the memory card. I believe there are four sections where you can save your game. It would be great if you have multiple children and each of them wants to keep their own progress. I use mine on the Wii for Double Dash MarioKart and for Smash Bros. Works great and has loads of extra space and that's only on one part of the memory card, I haven't used the other three partitions!

Lots of space in a small box.

These little things come in handy when you have a lot of games that need to be saved. A save node can hold multiple saves from multiple games, and having four separate nodes makes things a lot better. I recommend getting at least one of these if you have a lot of GameCube games or a lot of saves that take up smaller memory card blocks. However, make sure you turn off the console before switching nodes as this is sure to cause all sorts of problems, just like removing a memory card while the…

Not bad actually, best of accessories

I'm always a little nervous when using third party memory cards for gaming systems. I had a particularly traumatic experience with similar products for the Sega Dreamcast. As you probably already know from other test reports, the memory card is not really 512 MB, but four 128 MB memory chips that are built into one card. You have to manually choose which ones you want to access by clicking the little button at the bottom of the map. Tip: Don't do this when accessing a saved game. Better not to…
