This is a toy guitar. - PlayStation Systems

I bought so long ago for Rockband 3 on PS4. I still use it when I turn on my PS4. That's about 3 times a year since I upgraded to the Xbox X series.

good guitar. the best on PlayStation 3

. We both wanted to see how it looked in real life so I decided to to buy it. Pretty stupid thing. But the appearance of the guitar pleasantly surprised me. This is not a full size guitar which is not a problem for me. I'm sure this size was designed for the masses. So I had to buy a rock band 3 to play this guitar. My friend came and was amazed at the realism of the guitar. It was very exciting to play. Eventually you will learn how to play the guitar if you don't have the knowledge of this…

Pros
  • the best in its niche
Cons
  • I've been talking about this guitar for a long time with my friend who plays in the Kiss Tribute Band

Awesome but difficult!

I just received this and was very excited. When I first tried the song, I didn't hit a single note, and as I tried the practice and then the songs, you can get used to it and take time and patience to get better. The guitar appears to be longer and heavier than a standard rock band one guitar. The guitar doesn't have a crossbar and you can still buy an overdrive by tilting it or buy an overdrive that's sold separately and it works great. I want the guitar to have distortion like the RB and RB2…

  • A dream come true

Definitely not for people with bad habits!

I'm a self-taught guitarist and have been playing for 30 years. I have bad habits because I never took classes. Well I figured it out, and aside from the fact that most of the songs on RB with professional guitar are the worst songs in the game. Studying was difficult for me. My incorrect hand placement and pickaxe holding technique showed up on this girl! With a real guitar, you can mitigate your shortcomings with skill, "deceptive" hand placement, or poor technique. You can't do that with…

Well if you've never played a real guitar before.

I played both guitar and bass and I think it was too different from the original. It doesn't feel like you're playing a real instrument, and at the same time, when you've been in a rock band for a while, it's VERY difficult to play this one, because when you see the notes raining down on you, the first impulse was to get down, all the way down. fretboard. Do not move to another line. It was totally retarded after playing rock band for so long. It was strange getting used to the feel of the…

Almost like a "real " guitar!

I've been using this for a while and it's the best you can get for a 'real' guitar from Rock Band now that the Squier is no longer made. Don't get me wrong, I really, REALLY want one of the Squiers, but no more than $400! That's way above my price point and I also hate scalpers profiting from something you know they bought for $279 when they were made. Good. I've never had trouble setting up someone else. My guitar worked flawlessly right out of the box and continued to work even after long…

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Great game controller. Need better documentation

I ordered a Fender Mustang-PRO guitar because it is now available at a reasonable price. While the MSRP of $150 was too high, the $70 I paid (including shipping) is much more reasonable. Rock Band 3 becomes a completely different game with this controller. I'm not a guitarist so I'm a slow learner. Luckily, the game has some very good tutorial modes, and the songs are just one note at a simple level. Once I'm comfortable with it, I can start learning chords knowing that the skills I've…

It met my expectations.

I've never been a huge fan of Guitar Hero/Rock Band, I wanted something more like playing a real guitar. Please note that I don't otherwise play the guitar. I had heard of the Fender Squier and its ability to connect with the rock band, but it seemed like there was a $500 or $600 gap between the guitar and the required interface module. That was really more than I wanted to spend on the game. Then I came across a Mustang and it was cheap in comparison so I bought it. It was a few weeks ago…

Pros
  • still happy
Cons
  • sad packaging

The vast majority of the reviews I've seen as this guitar and playing are intended for absolute beginners but coming from someone who has been playing guitar for 10 years makes this a very difficult transition to get used to getting used to the controller, and I'm sure the Strat is a lot better in that regard, but as it's so hard to find one at a reasonable price these days I had to settle for that. I bought it on a whim given the huge drop in price after the release of Rock Band 3. $40? Oh…
