I've had A LOT of helmets and this one really stands out. Pros: - Appearance! Root Beer Metal Flake - If you're thinking about it, buy it. Cool AF - Comfortable - Flat body - Price is great - Feels good - Ratchet strap is a nice and easy to use feature Cons: - I know it's individual and I know most people wear helmets looser than they do should. However, my wife and I had to return the first order and order a size smaller. My head circumference is 57.5 cm and the medium size fits perfectly. In terms of fit, the problem with the recommended sizing chart (for each of us) was the inability to get the chin strap tight enough. Even on the smaller size (which fits) I had to adjust the chin strap to the tightest position. - Not really sure about the protection but if you're considering an open face. In general, I would advise everyone to ride with their face covered. . If you have 3/4 on the shelf, this is your helmet! Coming back to the color, the root beer is sort of a rusty orange, a little lighter than I expected. The metal plate is amazing. It's SO bright when it reflects light. My wife has a pink version - fantastic too. We put Biltwell on our bubble shields - cool again! I love the helmet and can only recommend it.
