Surprisingly at Zon you can get 5 packs for less than this pair. I used to buy them from a major chain pharmacy for a dollar each, so it's not a big deal. The one I have is more expensive and can justify that price, has some wooden rollers and good quality laminate, my dad bought it for about $5 when I was 18, adjusted for inflation it should be more expensive today. , but the cheap ones are still mostly potential dollar store items. That's good, but I don't see anything special about it. So cut the price in half and it will be a good buy. The item itself has many uses for overweight or elderly people. I used it in the office to pick up dropped items, if I dropped the scraper I could step onto the front and bring it back within reach. I could use it to hook things and remove them from my reach. Mine has a straight handle so I even used them as a ruler but they don't fit. It always fit in my briefcase, so I took it with me to commissioned work. The hotel was great for picking up clothes or shoes off the floor or dropping towels in the bath. A very useful device without the bulky size of a grabber, although I use both at home. Interestingly, I use them when I drop the handle to pick it up easily without bending down. But I can't recommend it at this price.
