Review on SCITOO CO 29148C AC Compressor Clutch: Compatible for 2013 Infiniti JX35 & Nissan Maxima 3.5L (2008-2014) by Rick Vidaurri

Just perfect. Some useful setup details in my review if you're interested.

First of all, just in case some of you don't know, any recent push button start vehicle has a quick self-diagnostic procedure to confirm that the AC clutch is faulty. With the door open, press the start button 5 times (foot is NOT on the brake pedal so don't start it), then press the door close button (on the pillar) 10 times, then press the start button 3 times. pushes. You hear a beep. The self-diagnosis first tests the windscreen wipers, then the headlights etc. and then the air-conditioning clutch for proper relay and clutch function. If you don't hear a loud click from the air conditioner clutch, this is most likely your problem. The coil can also be tested with an ohmmeter (should be between 4 and 5 ohms) if you have access to the AC clutch coil connector, which is a bit tricky. Now to the kit itself. Installation is quite easy, all parts fit together perfectly and appear well put together. There may be a little more play on the splines than I would like, but it works great. I reused the factory main bolt as personally I don't trust offshore bolts no matter what is stamped on them. As for the gaskets, your gap should be no more than 0.6 mm or about 0.025 inch maximum. You can check this with feeler gauges between the belt pulley and the lateral pressure plate after screwing on. As other reviewers have pointed out, I had to reuse the original shims as well as the ones that came with it to get .015" of clearance with no resistance or unintentional contact. Once you have everything together, run the diagnostics mentioned earlier to make sure you've fixed the problem before starting the car. The crimped pulley, although not made in Japan like the original, was very smooth and appeared to be of very good quality. I hope this repair will last for many years, but it's a relatively easy procedure if I need to do it all over again. Hope that helps!
