These lights are exactly what I was looking for. They dim smoothly (no fixed levels of brightness) and the colors aren't preset, you can easily adjust them to the exact color you want. They also integrate seamlessly with Alexa and have their own controls to set their own presets, time and power usage. However, anyone looking for light strips with separate color zones (RGBIC) is not at the right place here. what are you looking for. TP-Link has a KL430 with built in color zones and special effects, but with this kit (KL400) all LEDs are the same color. However perfect for my use and saved some money in the process. For the reviewer who said the description is misleading and that if you cut off a strip the cut end no longer catches fire. Thank you for this comment, which made me smile. It was pretty funny and I'm sure you were being sarcastic (at least I hope so).
