I am a big fan of tp link products and I have great respect for this brand. Uses almost every product in their range. But this light wasn't quite the quality you'd expect from tp link. Pros: Not as expensive as others. Cons - bare light, it's like light on a paper strip. Feels so delicate and also so vulnerable. There is simply no lamination to cover the chains. Not as bright as other lights like Tint or Sengled.

Misleading flexible cutting strip. Do not cut, otherwise the unconnected part will not be powered. It's a complete misconception that you can cut the strips. I went to the link and they said that if you exceed the length of the entire strip it needs to be cut. This is dumb because it means you bought the wrong length, why are you cutting it? I read all reviews before ordering. I confess I was afraid of stickiness and brightness, but after reading the reviews I decided to order a set. My wife and I worked as a team (having a second pair of hands helps a lot). We measured the area to ensure coverage, then stuck the tape to confirm the area, then removed the protective tape to stick it to the ceiling.
