Review on 🌿 Andalou Naturals Argan Stem Cell Age Defying Scalp Intensive - White, 2.1 oz by William Whisperer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good price but the products are so-so

Shampoo is not bad. It tends to dry out the length of my hair as it's VERY foamy so I don't like it. The conditioner is the worst as it makes my hair feel weirdly brittle like it's been stripped of oils or whatever and tends to lose some of its natural curl as well as a bit of volume. I don't like it at all - even cheap conditioner from the store works better on my hair. Pooh. The only part I like that might work (other than _probably_ the shampoo) is the serum. I really wish it was an older version because I think this version worked better. Also, it had a water texture (aged) and was very light and actually gave my hair a lot of volume (it's great that it looked thicker while you were waiting for it to grow back) and smelled great. If I remember correctly it also had stem cells from a certain European apple which is known for staying good/not rotting for very long, but I'm not sure this new stuff has anything like that. In any case, it doesn't have the bulky effect of the old version, which is disappointing. The only reason I gave that three stars is because I seem to notice that some baby hairs are ingrown - the kind that end up falling out before they reach more than two or three inches that are oddly white and black and very are thin, like cat hair. I know from using Rogaine-type products in the past that these hairs grow in and out before new, more stable growth begins, so I'm hoping that happens here. I'll try to stay positive and if it works really well I'll let you know. However, I will probably only buy the serum and maybe the shampoo in the future. The conditioner is really bad for my hair but people with different hair types and textures might like it.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
