Review on AKG Black N60 Noise Canceling Headphones by Jerry Delozier

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Broke after 6 months of short use

I bought these headphones because I was very happy with my old AKGs, but these headphones didn't really impress. The sound quality via Bluetooth is good. When the cable is connected, the headphone does not have enough amplification and the volume is too low. With Bluetooth+cancel the volume increases BUT still relatively small compared to my old AKG Q460. Sound quality seems to depend on an active equalizer that only works when headphones are on. The noise cancellation works great, reducing some of the annoying background noise while driving (engine noise from trains/planes etc.). But that's really the best thing I can say about these headphones. They broke after 6 months of short use. It looks like the earcup was glued to the earcup with cheap glue and it just failed and now the headphones are out of order.
