First of all, these lights are beautiful and bright. Second, the included remote control does not match the product description. It's actually a bit stronger. BUT the built-in flashlight modes are VERY limited. Of the three mode buttons on the bottom (In Waves, Strobe, Twinkle), the Strobe and Twinkle buttons each have 2 modes; normal flash/flicker and red/white/blue flash/flicker. The problem is that with normal Wave/Strobe/Flicker mode it cycles through all colors. For example, the flash starts with red with flashes of white and then changes through green with flashes of yellow until it has cycled through all colors. It would be nice if you could stop the loop at your desired color combination (red flashes white for me). These modes are not very useful for holiday lights (Christmas, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day) as they cannot stop the cycle. It looks like some LEDs aren't working properly, so at least one set will work. must be returned.
