I used these LED strip sets (in different colors) to make stick figure costumes for my whole family. There was just enough length in each one to do my 6' husband's costume, and plenty of room to do one for my 4yo. The individual strips detach from the battery pack, so once you've attached them to your garment it's still easy to get the garment on and off (or to get it on or off a sugared-up kid!). This was bought to go into the Nacelles of an Enterprise D model. The alternative would have been LED strips with multiple LEDs providing points of light when I need homogeneous light. Unfortunately, these lines are so dark, they're invisible in the model when the room is lit, and barely visible when the room is completely dark. I'll need to look elsewhere for brighter EL Wire.

This item works as described, but all 5 outputs do the same exact thing at the same time. I was hoping one of the functions would have a chase sequence. It does not. Don't expect a real bright light like with high brightness LED's. I was going to use it for my Model railroad movie theatre which stopped working and needs five chase sequence outputs. I'll find something to use it for I guess.

I purchased these to make a stick man costume for my daughter for Halloween. They worked perfectly. I was able to stitch them to black pants and hoodie and hid the battery pack in one of the pockets so my daughter could turn the lights on and off. They are flexible so she could sit and walk in them without any problem. Lights were bright. The lights are thin, but they worked fine for what I was using them for.

They are EL wire so I was not expecting bright but seriously they are weak even for what I was expecting and have used in the past, the power packs/ transformers scream like hell just a fair warning if your sensitive to high pitched electronic whine pass on this! Otherwise a fair deal if your not expecting the brightness or annoying the hell out of people around you.

Bought these to create Force Lightening for Halloween. Took a while to remove most of the curve in the strings, but on the fast strobe, in the dark, from about 15 + yards people were saying that it looked awesome. Less visually effective up close or in low light. Like the interchangeability of the strings (mixed some hues) and only used 3 per hand. These will be great for Ragnar style races as well.

I used this to turn my son into a stick figure for Halloween. I wish that you could unplug each line as it would really help with the gluing but I got through the it. Glued well with a glue gun and the result as just what I hoped for.

I wanted to buy a corvette neon sign, but unfortunately they are a few hundred dollars. I used the blue lights to make the name corvette and used different ones for the symbol. The ONLY problem i have with these lights is the high pitch noise they make, even the other lights that i bought from a different seller make the loud pitch noise so it may just be how they are. Crafting is my hobby so making a neon sign was the perfect challenge!

Product is what's shown in package and works as expected. It's a great blue, works solid or blinking. Very little EL buzz-noise versus other wires I've used. However it was not delivered according to Best Buy Prime time frames. In was ordered on 10/19 and delivered on 10/28, and it needed a signature which I've never had before on Prime packages. Why Best Buy tolerates products with the Prime logo that are not delivered to the specifications of our $100/yr subscription is beyond me.

Got this for a Halloween costume, but it barely lights up. One of the pics is on, one is off- can YOU tell? Super disappointed.

Overall the product worked well. That's my feedback! Wish the leafs were varying lengths to help allow flexibility on how it’s used.

This product is really cool! I used it to light up my hockey gloves for "glow hockey” at night. It lit up as described and looked really cool!It did make a bit of noise like the other reviewers mentioned but it’s not noticeable if you’re using it for an activity.Con: The one thing I wish they had (as an add on or suggested purchase) was extenders for the cables. It was a bit too short for my purposes.

Looks great but, I'm trying to find how to put it somewhere to use. It's like having 5 tentacles of neon.where do you put that? For some reason I thought it was one long string you could use. Hopefully the kids will like it.
