I have dry fit shirts by UnderArmor, Nike, Adidas, and now jeansian. The UA shirt is the thinnest and softest followed closely by Nike and Adidas. This jeansian shirt material feels like it is 30%-50% thicker than UA, and not quite as soft. That said, it didn't trap heat like I thought it might. It does a fine job of wicking moisture away and even when soaked through with sweat wasn't heavy like a cotton shirt would be, and wasn't scratchy or irritating to the skin at all.
