Nice lights for the money. 12v means fewer Amps, which means more lights per power supply!

Overall this is a very nice light strip. The hardest part was figuring out how to wire it to a three wire setup since it’s setup for four wires. Turns out that the two signal wires can be combined. Works great after that with an Arduino Uno controlling it and an separate 12v power supply. I bought more of them they were so nice. I’m nearly blind from the output too. Nice and bright!

Recommended good for me

This product exceeded my expectations. I bought 3 units for Xmas. I had one bad led section. No question. Immediate Replacement works perfectly.

Please do your research on led models and drivers , this look like an amazing product but the driver I used was the issue Prone to overheating if used for extended periods of time!

Good quality, but no help manual included

Professional lighting technician here. I bought these for a simple lighting effects installation for my TV. They work just as advertised, fairly bright and good construction.It's worth noting this product doesn't come with any documentation or adhesive backing. I found the silicon waterproofing does not stick to adhesives well, but it was very easily removed. The contacts are also very easy to solder unlike other cheap LED strips. The backup data line is.a nice touch for pernanent installs.Also

Quality Product with Execellent Performance

I had previously purchased the 5 Volt the three wire version and the wiring provided with that product did not allow for delivery of sufficient current to all of the LED in a strip. However, this 12 Volt Updated version does provide sufficient current to all LED in the strip. In addition the 12 Volt updated has the backup data transmission feature in case of a damage to individual LEDs. One must consider the amount of heat generation by the strip when used at full current capacity.

Do not buy, bad strips.

Purchased 3 waterproof 300 pixel strips. 2 of the three have long sections of garbled pixels. Great form factor and connectors but basically useless due to the broken pixels. Bummer.

Good lights, poor adhesion

Love the lights. Exactly what I was looking for. Although the adhesive backing is poor quality and has had problems sticking to a clean, smooth, prepped surface.

So in love with my new blinky lights!

These really look great paired with the Colorfill X2 Controller (https://amzn.to/2Y9CiYj). I installed the strips into a Muzata V-Channel Diffuser (https://amzn.to/2XN0PmL) using Acrylic Adhesive Foam Tape (https://amzn.to/2SjSzEN) and love the neon type effect they provide.

Good 12v strip for my opinion

It's pretty tough to find a WS2812 LED strip (and compatible flavors) that accepts 12v, so it's a good thing that this one hits the mark where it matters. I needed 12v to run relatively long strips (10m at 30 LEDs/m), and I'm happy to say that to my eye, I cannot see any decrease in brightness or color accuracy at that length.
