I was completely satisfied with this product and would have given a 5 star rating. However, this has worked fine through all the rain for several months, but the first time it sat in 2 inchest of snow, it broke. It will no longer work. My window to return passed last month so now I am out the money.

The dimmer works very well, fine control of intensities, the timer is also very helpful. The remote control works almost from anywhere, which is great. The only reason I don't give it a 5 is because the dimmer trips at 300 watts.

Great for my outdoor string lights. I use the remote every night to light up the yard for the dog and the dimming is great to set the mood

I had a nice string of light I put up on my patio, but needed an outdoor dimmer to finish off the project. The Newpow is just the ticket! Sturdy, waterproof, and the remote has lots of options! I can be in my condo and hit the button on the remote and then choose the brightness in increments of 25% up to 100% brightness. I would recommend the product!

I love the dimmer. I bought a string of lights that were much too bright for my porch. The dimmer goes nice and low or really bright! (I don’t use Alexa so I don’t know how it works with that which is the only reason I put 1 star there bc they won’t allow you to leave it blank)

I had to change the plug to a flat style & when cutting off what appears to be a 3 wire grounded plug I found it was only a 2 wire. As you can see the ground terminal has never been attached to a wire. There are only 2 wires white & black no green. I find this alarming in that by look it is a grounded plug & it is just a ground plug molded in that goes to nothing. Just so you know what your getting.

The remote allows setting a timer to turn the lights off, and also allows for adjusting brightness from 25% to 100% in increments of 25%. The unit does turn the lights on when power is restored after a power loss oddly enough, but I don't find this to be a show stopper.

I'd give this 5 stars, but the first set didn't work. However, I e-mailed the company and they express shipped the replacement which works fine. This level of customer service is exceptional. Thank you.

I purchased this for our balcony string lights and I love it. I don’t have to go outside to plug and unplug the lights. The remote does the job! Recommend it!

The dimmer unit itself is fine and works good. However, the only issue is the remote control device. You have to be very close to the plug-in unit for the handheld remote to work and then you have to press the buttons several times before the activate.It the handheld device worked better I would have rated it a 5.

I bought a number of these and am very pleased. Make sure you only have one per circuit. I put two on the same circuit (unknowingly) and the second lights only flickered. Highly recommended.

This product does exactly what it is designed to do - and does it well. I installed the dimmer at the beginning of summer, and for some reason the remote stopped connecting to the dimmer. I messaged Newpow, and they were able to remedy the problem with absolutely no hassle. Will definitely buy from this seller again.

Product is easy to use. The holes for mounting on the wall appear to be big enough for nails but probably not screws. It comes with neither.Only real complaint is that if you have a power outage (thunderstorm or maybe it's winter in Texas), it will turn on with the lights at full intensity once power comes back. I suppose this is it's default state and a sufficiently long power outage drains some internal capacitor meant to help with storing the thing's state during brownouts.

We wanted a dimmer control for our outdoor lights and this dimmer is perfect! It has a variety of settings besides percentages of dimness. We can even control it from inside the house! It's exactly what we were looking for!

The remote is easy to use and has a good range with it. The only dislike I have is whenever the power goes out and back on it turns the lights on, even if they were off to start with. Other than that no problems.
