This is a real wax candle with an electronic "flame" that actually randomly moves around (watch the video). It's a very convincing effect even in full daylight.The flame is a small plastic piece that wiggles around with a yellow LED shining on it. While it's okay for it's price, there are enough downsides to avoid it and just buy something a bit more expensive unless you are not planning on using it much.The frame came twisted, so I had to force it into place. I'm not sure how long it will last. The stem arrived quickly and had no major defects. There was a small chip in the finish but it doesn't bother me. This items is a great item and a life saver. Only complaint is when shippng the box is not suitable for shipping. Due to the rough handling of delivery personal the box dosent survive. Had my first pump make it to the final postal office and get returned due to being unbelievable. Customer service was awesome and reordered a new one. This one almost didnt make it. Bought for my 6 yr. old grandson who absolutely LOVES them and who has hardly taken them off! They seem to run a bit large. He wears a size 2, but his foot is long and a narrow and these seem a little wide. I wish they came in narrow, but they do not. Maybe a 1.5 would have fit better, but he loves these so much I dare not return them. If they had the sandals in navy, I would buy them. This is a great pull up bar. I really like how easily I can take it on and off my door with no trouble, and I have no doubts about its sturdiness.The only complaint I have is that assembly was a bit frustrating. I almost broke this thing trying to put some screws in the wrong direction. Still can't figure out whether it was just my mistake or if the illustration in the manual is inaccurate.
