Bought three of these; one for each bath fan. All work very well and have held up for 6+ months daily use. No buzzing or buttons falling off. Competitor units have numerous reported issues and reliability problems so I'm very happy. Blue LED lights are rather bright which is OK in a bathroom (sort of a night light). If this for a bedroom, consider the version where lights can be disabled. There are also different time selections available if this one doesn't suit you.

I'm using this switch to run a bathroom exhaust fan. I tried two timers previously and neither worked. It turns out that if the switch doesn't provide a neutral wire then there is a minimum current that has to run through the switch in order to run the timer, usually about 40w.So - if your switch isn't working or it cycles on/off constantly then you need a switch with a neutral wire like this one.

This timer works well, but here's the confusing part. The main blue LED light on it stays ON when it's not in use. The light actually goes off only for the few minutes that it's on. This is confusing when you first use it. The other issue I have is that I bought it as an energy-saving device for my bathroom fans. Easily swapped these in to replace a couple of failed Leviton timers for bathroom fans. I have it purposed to control the bathroom fan (commode area), and it's amazing! There's no more having to wait around to turn off the fan, remembering to go back, or having to worry about guests or kids leaving the fan on. And. It just looks cool. The only thing I would've liked it to have is Wi-Fi or Z-Wave functions, so that I could activate the fans in a fire alarm event. but you can't have everything.

For anyone with a bathroom, you really have to have this product. Spray deodorant only goes so far. The greatest benefit of this product is that you can set the timer for anywhere from 1 or 5 minutes for clearing the air for normal # 2s or you can set it for up to 30 minutes if the Hulk stopped by to use your bathroom and then you do not have to remember to turn the fan off. Great concept, and the blue lights illuminate around the clock (2 of them). They almost serve as a nightlight for us. I was annoyed by them at first, but I am happy the bathroom is not pitch black while stumble in there middle of the night and do not want to wake myself up by turning on the light.The minutes button is always illuminated, and the power button is illuminated only when off, it turns off when in use.

These work perfect, however the LEDs are wicked bright. Don't need a nightlight for the bathrooms anymore! When not in use both the timer & main button LED are on & VERY BRIGHT! They could & should put a lower level one in. On a sunny day in direct sunlight you would be able to see this thing easily! Still for the money, it's worth it.

Nice addition to the bathroom, especially being able to set the timer and walk away not worrying about the fan running all day. I've seen some complaints about the brightness of the blue led lights. It wasn't an issue, as I installed them in the bathrooms of my home.Update: We had power surge and 2 of the 3 switches I had installed had their 30 min led light go out, as the last setting light stays lighted continuously. Not a serious issue or a show stopper, just a minor thing really.

The lights are bright and replaced a not so bright nightlight in our bathrooms. Installed one in a 2 gang box and a 3 gang box which are both metal and from the 60s or 70s. Had a hard time getting this into the two gang alongside a motion sensor light switch. Had to file the rounded corner of the metal box to make this fit. If the switch body was more curved then it would be no problem. In the 3 gang I placed this in the middle so it was easier to install.

These are pretty good, standard timers. The shortest times are kind of useless for a bathroom fan, as I purchased them for, but other than that, there only one down-side to these: The LEDs they decided to use are *bright* blue ones. I suppose it could be nice in a very bright room, but when you're trying to have a dark, dark bedroom to sleep in, these are glaring and bright enough to be a night-light. They would have been much better to be red or amber and about half as bright.

They work as expected. Not a 5-star due to the insane brightness of the LEDs. As others have said in reviews the LEDs are basically night lights and we have to close the bathroom door to not have these light up the bedroom. Will probably end up hacking them to dim the LED in the future.

They served me well for 5 years as timer switches for bathroom ventilation fans. The bright LED Lights serve as night light in the bathroom, so that’s s great. But the 5 min LED went out after a few months. And now just shy of 5 years one of the two died completely. Very disappointing.

Unfortunately, I did not realize that these timers were incompatible with my Panasonic exhaust fans in time to return them. It was longer than 30 days when my electrician came to install them and they did not work.
