Review on Oakcat Travel Carrier Backpack Outdoor by Eduardo Frederick

Cheaper materials, roll or backpack

UPDATE to add a picture under the seat. It worked perfectly for the Sun Country under the seat. Our dog had plenty of room and got a good nap. We had to remove the water bottle from the side, but didn't need to remove the wheels. He had a place to change. I don't know how durable the screen and materials will be in the hapless dog. I also like that it can be a backpack or a cart on wheels. Two downsides: 1. The backpack straps are stretchy and will eventually fall off after being plugged in, so we'll have to find a solution when rolling it up, and 2. The straps aren't very soft, so the dog's shoulders will hurt even with 12 pounds through 10 minutes or so. I think it will work for our 12-15 lb dog for a sunny land flight but will update this review if there are any issues. It has detachable wheels and seems to roll very well when we put them on. I had a bit of trouble attaching a wheel because the release hardware doesn't seem to be of the highest quality. Good rolling is important as backpack straps are quite uncomfortable. There are no zippers either, so if your dog chews on zippers it won't last long. It's soft so I hope it fits in the space we have.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some complications
