This is one of 3 mini keyboards (this one) the RII-I8+, a IS11-BT05, and a RII-MK02+. I tried these with an Android TV, a Fire TV and a Fire TV Stick.IMPORTANT (applies to all devices):With all of these devices the mouse (touchpad) cursor does NOT follow keyboard arrow key navigation. This is VERY annoying with an Android TV. The workaround for this is to always use the mini-keyboard as a mouse and only use keyboard navigation as a last resort. With Fire TV, you want to use the mini-keyboard as a keyboard, the mouse (touchpad) functions are virtually useless. The volume keys do not work with FireTV.With Android TV, the only way to execute a function is to place the mouse cursor over it and press the left-mouse button. The 'Enter' key behaves exactly the same as the left-mouse button. If you press 'Enter' in keyboard mode, it turns the mouse cursor on. If you press 'Enter' in mouse mode, it behaves identically to the left mouse button - whatever is under the mouse cursor gets executed.With Fire TV, you want to use the mini-keyboard as a keyboard. You navigate using the arrow keys and pressing 'Enter'. This behaves predictably with all 3 mini-keyboards.The only issue I have with this is the 'Enter' key is not well placed, you have to reach into the middle of a bunch of keys to press it. Since, you are in keyboard mode all of those mouse button keys are completely useless!The RII-MK02+ has no 'Home' key - which is one of the main reasons I returned it. NB: The RII-I8+'s 'Home' key is mislabeled as 'e'.If you are using these with Kodi. make certain to google 'Kodi Keyboard Shortcuts' - you are going to need them. Believe it or not, the shortcut keys are VERY useful and provide additional functionality!BEWARE: Technical documentation for ALL of these devices is virtually non-existent. If you have a technical question, be prepared to painstakingly search through Best Buy comments to find an answer.Rankings:1. I rate this mini-keyboard, the RII-I8+, as the best. At $29usd, it is also the most expensive.2. A close 2nd is the IS11-BT05. At $23 it is reasonably priced.3. The RII-MK02+ (the one with the laser pointer) is a distant 3rd. At $21 it is the cheapest.
