I read all the positive and negative reviews I could find about this lens before taking the plunge. I was thrilled when the lens arrived and tried it out on my XT-2 and XT-1. As everyone has said, the lens is amazing. I read that there is a new firmware update that downsizes the lens to f/1.6. So I tried updating the firmware only to find out that the USB port wasn't working. I ended up sending it back to Revain for a replacement. The replacement came, the USB connection deserved. Firmware update did not help. I studied it and realized it wouldn't work for the Fuji line. Not really excited, but that didn't stop me from using the lens. One feature I noticed is that when shooting in manual mode on both the XT-1 and XT-2, the exposure compensation shows minus 5. So when you're looking through the viewer or in real time, the screen is dark, and the lens roars. . If you leave the camera in Auto. you have no problem But who will use the lens in car? I swapped the lens for a Fuji lens and the exposure compensation is fine. I'm still not sure what the solution is.
