Good product but I bought this on purpose as my 10 lb cat loves to scratch litter and this design isn't up to the task. After only 2 days of use there was a lot of dirt in the shell as you can see in the photos. (I'd suggest the manufacturer raise the leading edge higher and maybe make the tray a bit longer.) On the plus side, it seems effective at reducing the dirt trail so far. I would only recommend it for small to medium sized cats that don't overdo the covering.
