Review on πŸ§” Brown Lockhart's 1 Ounce Heavy Duty Moustache Wax for Powerful Hold & Styling by Betty Tucker

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent fixation and styling!

I've only used a few mustache waxes so far but this is by far the best I've ever used! There are a few things to consider.1. Small things have a big impact! For a really good hold I use less than a quarter of what I used with previous waxes. The third picture shows how much I use per side.2. It stays in place for a long time! The previous waxes I've used have lost their hold (at most) after an hour. Lockhart lasts much longer, even under the mask! I'm sure results will vary but after 5 hours of masking this wax was still holding its shape! He's fat, but not fat. Other waxes are hard but thin and blend relatively easily when pressed with fingers (albeit with small bits of unmelted wax). Lockhart is much thicker when pressed, but there are no hard lumps in it. It runs smoothly and there doesn't seem to be any heaping (so far).4. He has a smell. I can understand how that can turn a lot of people off, especially right under your nose. To be honest, I find the smell pleasant and hardly notice it after about a minute. I'm not sure what it actually is, but it's a sweeter street scent. My previous wax smelled like pine so this is a nice change of pace for me. Anyone looking to experiment with high hold wax can't go wrong with this purchase! It's relatively inexpensive, lasts for hours, and is easy to style. If you're new to mustache wax, I'd recommend starting elsewhere to learn how to use it effectively and see what works. To you. If you're like me experimenting with strong hold wax, I don't recommend Lockhart!
