🧔 Brown Lockhart's 1 Ounce Heavy Duty Moustache Wax for Powerful Hold & Styling Review

I have used a variety of mustache waxes and have to say this is by far the best product for setting and somewhat non-flaking. Loses its appeal after a while but is better than what is on offer there! And a great smell too!

The thing has an unpleasant smell for me, rather perfumed. It's hot in Connecticut and I don't have air conditioning. However, this wax is too difficult to use.

Extremely hard wax, I warm the jar in some hot water for a few minutes before applying. compared to white mustache wax. For someone who is 6 months on the bike and generally has slow growing facial hair genes, this allows me to keep a curl all day

smell of vanilla and beeswax at the beginning but for everyday use I don't like it. It's overwhelming. The smell reminds me of a strong candle scent. too much smell The hold is MUCH less than other waxes which is about 3 lockharts compared to Firehouse Sticky Wax which has 10 lockharts. The wax is hard but heats up quickly when applied. The can volume is good for the price. Overall however I feel this is an overrated wax, there are better options out there.

I've only used a few mustache waxes so far but this is by far the best I've ever used! There are a few things to consider.1. Small things have a big impact! I have tried many other dark mustache waxes so I know what I want from wax. Lockhart's wax has a very good hold. It lasts most of the day unless I break a sweat, in which case I may need to reapply. The smell is pleasant. It smells like a mix of a masculine floral scent with talcum powder. Using this wax is easy. I scrape it off with my thumbnail. This is the best wax for my thin handlebar mustache. Used only on the handlebars, they stay perfectly intact all day long, even in 30 degree heat and even in the rain. In cool weather, of course, it holds up even better. However, if the temperature of the glass falls below room temperature in winter, it should be warmed up in a bag for a few minutes before packing. Incredible grip for better bar curls. The stuff holds! Once in the morning and it lasts all day. Like the hair pomade, it lasts great and smells very mild, good for those sensitive to scents. It does have the same learning curve as lipsticks, however, where you MUST heat the jar and make sure you work it with a finger or you'll end up with those smudges that don't work.
