As a result I had to replace a worn cover from seven years ago. I have no idea what brand my in-wall ironing board is, so I had to take a chance and upsize every brand of replacement covers I could find. It's a pretty good deal - I can make my own ironing board cover but I can't do it at this price! My board is 40x12 and the cover fits very well. It was a little tricky to install, but just try a few different ways and take your time and it will eventually detach from the edges of the board. It's padded on the back, but I like a well-lined cover, so I put 2 or 3 layers of cotton on the bare ironing board before pulling the cover on. It also helps a lot with the look and fit of the lid to smooth out the creases after installation. I am very happy with this case and will buy another one as a replacement.
