This little thing is absolutely brilliant if you have a big hand sewing project or want to take your sewing project with you. I love that I don't have to stop and thread a new needle every ten minutes! Don't knot the thread or it will tangle, but follow the instructions and you'll be fine. I also run the thread through the conditioner before wrapping it in the holder, which can help. Bonus - because I always replace the needle I take out with the needle I just finished using, the needles no longer fail.
