first let me say that this item is beautiful. The green sea foam changes color really well in different lighting, and the velvet really gives it an amazing aesthetic, almost oceanic. It varies between green and bluish-silver. Second, it's sooooo convenient. It's incredibly comfortable. I don't like thick, fluffy duvets. This thing is thin, but it's a good weight. Weighs a lot more than I expected. Comparable to a gravity blanket. When it gets cold it's great if you cover it. The cotton inner lining feels comfortable, while the combination of cotton and velvet ensures breathability. And it's so nice to lie on the blanket. My dog is definitely a fan too, which is very important. There are reviews claiming that the king size is too small. I have a fairly high queen bed and the edges of the king comforter are about 4 or 5 inches off the floor. Unless you need very well trimmed edges (see photo) to reach the bottom of your full sized bed, I think this is a good size for a king size comforter. Great bedding for the price. I look forward to winter with this bad boy. Edit: It's been 8 months now and I'm still totally in love with this blanket. It's so beautiful and just keeps getting better with time. It is breathable. I can feel the air rushing through him and my cotton sheets. It holds up fantastically in the washing machine and dryer. No fraying or broken stitches and virtually no fading. It was worth every penny. If for any reason you have doubts, don't hold back and thank me later.
