🛏️ Brielle King Size Grey Quilt Set - Premium Heavy Velvet with Cotton Backing Review

The color and quality of this blanket is exceptional. The only problem is that it barely covers the mattress to the top of the velvet bed frame we have. it's shrinking otherwise it won't work anymore on this king size bed. The photo on the internet is deceptive as it shows almost to the ground. My king size duvet barely covers the top mattress and I have to adjust a bit to get the bed to cover all areas. For the photo they must have used the queen duvet on the queen bed right?

I was impressed when I opened the package. The fabric is dense and (as it turned out) well made. The velvet looks a little shinier (ie rougher) than I would have liked, but I can be oddly picky about velvet, so it's not a deal breaker. The problem arose when trying to put the pillows in the blankets. The zippers don't go all the way through the pillow (or even close) and I managed to rip the seam on the first one I tried to tuck the pillow into. The second time I was more careful not to tear it

This is NOT a duvet which I understand to be some kind of padding, more like a thin duvet and velvet on one side only. When I first opened the box I was a bit disappointed.
