but any athlete will tell you its a waste of money

Everything about this product is terrible. I have no idea why it's "Amazon's Choice". You need 7-10 grams of BCAAs if you lift weights. That gives you TWO grams from four HUGE pills! You would need to take 16-20 tablets. You are already huge. I just have no idea how they get such a high rating. It has to be the price. expensive. Even if you add extra BCAAs to those already in your protein. I've been lifting for 5 years, I've started introducing soups in 2nd and 3rd courses. There are people who know a lot more than I do, but any lifter will tell you that this is a waste of money. Look at any other label. None of the BCAAS give you 500mg? The lid doesn't stay closed either. The pills fell to the bottom of the bag twice and I ended up throwing them away.
