I won't lie I looked at a lot of skeletons before deciding on this one. For some reason half of them have collarbones about level with their nipples, which makes my eye twitch. In any case. I ordered 8 for my (little) 7 year old because most cotton jumpers fit the small size, but they are more like lounge chairs than tight jams. But the length was good so I will say they will probably be short for a medium sized kid. He can still wear Carter's size 7, and that size 8 was a good length for him. While they probably don't go well enough with cotton pajamas, They make a pretty cute (and comfy) skeleton costume. They shine very well.
