I have a Toshiba 24AF43 CRT and wanted to connect SNES Classic, PS1 Classic and Chromecast. All HDMI, so I needed such a converter. I have a 3 source selector switch with an output going to this easycel converter. When I first used it, the image on the TV was distorted, so I just kept pressing the "Resolution" button until I got the image (it looked like it was using all the possibilities, like 540 x 960, 720x480, etc.). Now I don't have to use the allow button for every source I select, it is set where it should be. And whatever I stream through Chromecast doesn't matter, it shows up on the TV and I don't have to do anything. It was a great solution for having the HDMI stuff I want to see on my old TV. I've been using it for 4 months now and hope it lasts a long time. We will see. :)
