God I'm going to sound like a mean old maniac right now, and that's not my usual personality. ;-) I prefer this classic style of flossing to the new thinner or flatter styles because my interdental spaces aren't as narrow. If so, you're going to hate this thread and love a thread like Glide which doesn't work for me. Another thing I like is the lack of mint flavor. I can tell if I've cleaned a spot properly by the fact that the thread doesn't stink. Mint thread masks this smell and creates the illusion of purity. It's like not looking at toilet paper to tell when you're done drying. Sorry for the crude analogy but I'm real and let's be honest; Some aspects of personal hygiene are disgusting. Now back to the toilet...oddly enough I've used this thread more than once to fix the toilet. It can replace a broken choke chain in an emergency and then last as long as a crappy chain. My inner MacGyver used it to fix other things too.
