You have to lift the straw a bit to avoid blocking the flow

Great mug, I use it almost every day. I made the mistake of adding water and not noticing there is a small piece of cardboard at the bottom so it was there for a day before I noticed so be careful. The drink is cold and can hold ice for a while I wouldn't say all day I don't really care but my biggest issue is the straw it comes in doesn't let the drink flow well If you try drinking from it kinda sucks to the bottom and makes drinking a little harder than it needs to be. Raising the straw helps a lot, I still recommend this product
