It used to be good but the new taste is terrible

I used to like this product. See my original review below. Although it tasted like chalk, I drank it. Four cans of it. Then something changed. I know they did because I didn't miss a single day between my old (end-of-life) can and the new can. The new flavor really, really sucks. It's more sandy and chalky, but in a very different way. I used to tolerate lime, but now it just leaves a weird aftertaste that makes me almost nauseous. However, I tested this new glass for a week. After that I gave up because I didn't want to throw up before I went to work. In fact, this nearly full glass just sits on my kitchen counter while other protein brands come and go. I just can't bring myself to drink it anymore. I don't understand why they changed it. -------------- Old Review -------------- I like it even though it tastes like chalk. I ordered 4 packs of this protein powder. Tastes like chalk. But I still drink it in the morning, 5 times a week. I imagine it like this: Since I can't eat meat or fish, I have to sacrifice something for protein. If you drink the whole glass in one or two sips, you'll only taste chalk twice, which is acceptable. With this attitude I got used to the taste. Now the taste doesn't bother me at all. Also, remember that any protein that tastes sweet contains something you may not like β€” carbs (like sugar) or sweet laxatives. In terms of protein content, it is very effective. In terms of calories, this is one of the best protein supplements out there. I've been going to the gym for about 4 months now and have noticed an increase in muscle mass with this protein. When taking this protein, remember to drink plenty of water.
