Great gun for Cerakote or similar coatings

I use this gun for spraying Cerakote coatings and it works great, really doesn't need adjustment and sprays well and evenly. I've always been happy with DeVilbiss shotguns.

Pros
  • Freehand
Cons
  • I will add later

Great little gun for spray guns and accessories

Works much better than no name brands and you can get parts. Does what it's supposed to without breaking the bank. Use it mainly for latex and other water based paints so can't comment on car paints but the gun works fine

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • So far so good

That does not work! - Spray Guns and Accessories

Bought as a gift for my father and he used it for the first time a few weeks after I gave it to him. It's a piece of junk, it didn't spatter at all. We were both very disappointed. It's not worth the price. Spend the worst money. I wouldn't regret it if it was cheaper or if it wasn't such a good company. I am really disappointed.

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • Speed

Excellent value for money for occasional use.

Decent quality, great HPLV sprayer for beginners. zero complaints. I use this to make Duracoat Pew Pew Toys. Works great for this app. No blockages, no crashes, easy to use. All problems were user related. However, my experience with these sprayers is very limited and I don't even use them monthly. If you need something for frequent use, you might be better off saving money and going up a few levels.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • I have no bad feelings about it, everything is fine

Valuable supplement with limitations

Very practical for cramped spaces and small jobs. I've used it a lot to paint and finish baseboards and the inside of small closets. I have to use additional liquid fine filters to keep the 1mm tip clean. It really takes 29psi to pull out thicker liquids like paint. It's great for coloring - again for small areas. The 1mm thick tip limits the area we can spray to keep the edge moist here in central Arizona where things dry almost as fast as you can put them on.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons

Not a top-of-the-line professional, but great for a shadow mechanic

Beautifully finished, feels good in the hand, the chrome plating is well done. metal mug plus. used 3 times. Metallic blue spray, even distribution. Very happy with the purchase. It actually looks oddly similar to the detailed Harbor Freight pistol as the casting is identical. Although the inner workings can be different. The Harbor Freight pistol has an airflow control adjustment on the bottom of the grip where the DeVilbiss has a plug. It is made in Taiwan. Just like the harbor cargo cannon…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

Fluid tip was bent and badly dented

So the spray gun arrived quickly. I didn't have a chance to use it for a few weeks, but when I did, problems started immediately. The trigger kept getting stuck. When I disassembled the gun to clean and inspect, the fluid tip was bent and badly dented. Upon further inspection, I found a flaw in the casting or machining of the nozzle. I almost think the gun has been used and sent back, but it was packaged well. I have a Sata and a couple of Anest Iwata pistols and I've never seen anything like…

  • Easy to use
