After 3 days of wearing to and from school the shoes were very dirty and dusty (really bad, like they were 5 years old). So I tried cleaning it with a damp cloth (no luck!), shaking off the dirt (same thing) and finally tossing it in the washing machine. It turned out even dirtier. Dust gets trapped between the mesh covering the shoe and the material underneath. So you can't get it for love or money. If I had bought gray or brown they might have looked better, although I highly doubt this based on the design of the shoe itself. But with light pink. After 1 day of wearing it looks like the child got into a mud fight and not a normal school day.
