I don't know if it's even possible to make the nippers any sharper. If they were any bigger, you'd need a permit to own/operate. The jaws are lined up perfectly and where they meet, there is a very fine bezel that makes them easy to get into tight spots and take off skin cleanly without a lot of tags and no pulling, and it takes off the tiny tags really easily. I'm a bit concerned the jaws won't hold the cutting edges because they're so fine, but I've hacked myself up pretty well today and they don't seem to be dulling yet. The spring mechanism actually can be disengaged if you need to open the jaws or store the nipper without tension; twist downward and the two pieces will pop apart. Twist them back up and align the tab with the slot, squeeze the handle, and it's back together.The cuticle pusher is way better than I expected, too. The pushing side is actually quite sharp so it does a great job of scraping the cuticle off the nail even without a chemical softener. The curved scraping side is a bit tricky to get the hang of, so I'm not sure if it's not great or if I'm just not using it right, but it still scrapes cuticle off the nail plate.Pretty good get, and the chameleon finish is neat.
