Review on KEEN Womens Sandal Gargoyle Raven Women's Shoes in Athletic by Jessica Wood

My wife bought these for our trip to Costa Rica about 2 years ago, wore them on a waterfall tour. 2 years ago she slipped a couple of times on wet surfaces, stones. The tour was short, they didn't pay much attention to it at the time. I put them on for the second time yesterday on another hike in Costa Rica with muddy trails, it was awful. You could also be barefoot. They offer no slip resistance, no grip. We will throw them, they were so dangerous that she slipped everywhere and grabbed the trees. These shoes are not suitable for hiking. The shoes were worn twice in the wet and once in the dry. I was so concerned for their safety that I would never carry them down a muddy, wet trail. We walk a lot and are quite experienced and healthy. They should not be classified as outdoor hiking.
