Review on πŸͺ‘ Grey Mesh High-Back Drafting Chair with Adjustable Foot Ring and Flip-Up Arms - Ideal Tall Office Chair for Standing Desks by Heidi Young

Not sure what I like best about this drafting chair

I was delighted with this chair based on the reviews I read before ordering (I read them all). It took longer than was told he would receive the product. It was easy to assemble and looks beautiful. I have an old 36" desk in my office so I needed a drafting chair to sit comfortably at work (8 hours a day) and school (another 4-6 hours a day) - so I wanted something - I don't think I like this chair. The ring/footrest on the bottom won't stay in place. It only slipped down once, but it doesn't hold securely when you tighten it. I can easily rock it with my foot while sitting. No big deal I guess. However, I constantly feel like I'm slipping forward if I don't keep my feet on the footrest. The chair is level, so it doesn't really lean forward, it just feels like it. I thought maybe the incline adjustment knob needed an adjustment. It takes Herculean strength to adjust the incline adjustment knob - so warm up before attempting to adjust it - and know that trying to adjust it is pretty much pointless. I've gone from one end of the spectrum to the other and seemingly everywhere in between with this grip and have noticed NO difference in the sitting position of the chair as a result. I'm pretty sure it's just for show. I discuss the hassle of returning this rather than writing off $200 on a bad experience and trying to find something else.
