Review on πŸͺ‘ Dritz 57 Assorted Hand Needles in Various Styles & Sizes (50-Count) by Hannah Curi

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Large selection of sewing needles.

Oddly enough, I didn't buy these needles for sewing. I needed small but strong needles to remove dirt and debris from tiny cracks and crevices. I have some old computer hardware (mice, keyboards, etc.) that was in dire need of cleaning and I needed something small and sharp to get rid of the dirt between the plastic plates. I did not use pens or pencils for fear of soiling the equipment with ink or graphite, the ice picks were too large to fit through cracks and the needles on the pins and tacks were too small to effectively remove debris, but these needles did the trick. They managed to fill the smallest gaps between the plastic plates of mice and keyboards to remove accumulated dirt and grime. You won't believe how much dirt these needles were able to pull out. Now all my computer gear looks brand new! I also use them for shoes and boots. I have several pairs that I wear for construction purposes and spend a lot of time in the field and in the mud. From time to time I'll take one of these needles and dig out the dried dirt between the grooves on the underside. Each needle is relatively sharp, some sharper than others, and they are all slightly different sizes; some are thicker, some thinner. I imagine they would make great sewing supplies, but they work incredibly well for other purposes as well. If you're looking for something relatively thin, but strong and sturdy enough to withstand moderate force to chop or dig something, this should help.

Pros
  • Various hand needles in a pack (50 pcs)
Cons
  • I have some doubts
