Okay new hammock setup pics. Foreword: I don't have perfect distance, but I've done it with others, so think before you go into the woods. Easily folds up without a raincover. A real pain with it but it can only be used with velcro on the sides, I wonder if the ends will hold up in high winds - will update when I know. I always carry an ultralight rain cover with me, so I'll probably add that when it's appropriate. When I put my 215/220 pounds in it felt like a lot more stretch than the "hammock" I had, just how I felt it but once I got in there was plenty of space so no claustrophobia, if it was extreme rods of the tire remain in a vertical position. The only other issue is the end crossbars (last two photos). One end fits in a pocket but I couldn't fit the other end so I used Velcro on that side (guess why it's there?). While hanging around for a few hours looking for drinks etc I walked in many times and the bar on my head popped out with velcro and the bar landed on the floor. That's definitely not a problem, but why not put it in the pockets on either side? I feel like this is the only design issue they missed as the crossbar falls apart so instead of a long sleeve it goes through a pair of smaller sleeves so you can rip and stretch them out like I did in the last photo have done. And maybe it should be but I don't understand the sleeve or the velcro lol! Either way, there are still 6 ⭐️! Loved everything about it except the self inflating mattress but it inflates easily and is really comfortable. Sleeping was nice too. Setting it up as a tent was very easy and I will have to update it when I test it in hammock mode. It rained last night and for an hour it rained heavily in all directions. It was 50 degrees outside and I stayed warm and dry - no moisture seeping in or out! Not sure what the two crossbars are for as I couldn't put them in the end pockets which might be an issue in hammock mode but we'll see. By weight - - I actually carry a tent and separate hammock with me when I'm backpacking for a week or more, along with a slightly lighter sleeping bag but a heavier mat. Despite all that, I can leave the hammock at home as this mat is better and the bag fits the mat nicely, so overall it replaces my current one person kit! that in two people is awesome! The price is great for what you get and I couldn't find any issues at this point. I hope the hammock test passes too!
