I wouldn't buy this for $6.99 if I saw it in a store. Got for my aunt for Christmas. It should work as it is a lightweight material and heats up easily. I didn't expect it to be so thin or cheap. It costs $6 but no more. Originally I had planned to get it in 4 colors. I'm glad I only ordered one at first. I got blue. In the picture it looks like the same color but they have tried very hard to make the scarf look bigger and fluffier than it really is. It's thin and flat
