It's not quite what I expected, overall it's ok.

In general, not bad for the money, but the same generation of USB 1.0 has been working since 2022 and does not ask any questions about the connectors. Its pros: The device in terms of capacity, noise, speed of operation corresponds to the declared characteristics. Its cons: Does not connect to USB 1 and 2 standards at all! According to the USB 3 standard - turns on every other time! By connecting to a laptop - you have to occupy the only port of this standard.

Best thing I have ever used, highly recommended!

Files can be stored while the device is connected to a router. It goes to sleep after five minutes of inactivity once it has been setup using the Seagate Dashboard program; it does not continue to spin ineffectively for days at a time.

Good product, good quality, not bad.

Got pros: +design + usability + low temperature operation + a significant amount of storage space Having this drawback: - After a year of use, it started to become fixed in only one position.

Perfect product for any user!

A couple of months -- the flight should be fine. I undocked it multiple times without making the effort to "safely remove it" each time. So far no effects.

Good product, more pros than cons.

I'm used to models that are shock-resistant, so I wouldn't take this one with me on a vacation because it doesn't have a protective layer. This is neither a plus nor a minus, but it is obvious that this model does not have one.

No joy in buying the product, it's not good.

I will contact the company that made the product. The drive was used as a storage space for photographs, and somewhat more than 100 GB of data was recorded onto it. Since there were no overwrites or other changes made, this indicates that the disk was utilized very little overall. To a shocking degree, unsatisfied

Satisfied with the product, I recommend it to everyone.

I use a disk for a backup of a photoarchive. Accordingly, the disk is rarely used and turns on for a short time. Inside the box is a Seagate Mobile HDD [ST2022LM007] at 5400 rpm, with a 128 MB buffer and a SATA-III interface. When connected via USB-3.0, it works at good speeds. It's enough for my purposes.

Pros
  • + Volume + Quiet + USB 3.0
Cons
  • Didn't find any cons

I didn't like it, I don't recommend buying it.

Maybe I just didn't get how the software worked, but first impressions are, well, not great. As for the disc itself, it's fine. External hard disk failure, as I ate. Having recently been inserted into the computer, it abruptly stopped being recognized (before that, it once threw out a similar trick). Windows brought the hard drive back to life for 3 hours, so it was feasible to restore operating capability, but the entire vacation's worth of images, together with the backup of smartphone…

Pros
  • Little and light hard disk. It's a pretty sight. Is surprisingly effective. Very bad dependability; see note below. First of all, let me say that I didn't accidentally damage the disc by dropping it; rather, I wore it within a case, so taking it off was always a safe bet.
Cons
  • Specifically, I needed the disk to keep my work tasks in sync, so I took it with me. On a regular basis, I conduct business while seated in my pajamas. I was relieved to find out that the manufacturer provides a downloadable tool to sync the contents of a folder on your computer with that of your hard drive. The Indians developed Seagate Toolkit as a result. In this case, I made a copy of the files on my computer and saved them in a separate folder on my hard drive. Everything seems to be in order; I was able to locate the files on the portable hard drive. I finished a piece of work and then moved it to a challenging project. Even though I can access it, I don't have these files on my internal or external hard drive. Evaporated. And the software is pleased to say that it has freed up 20 GB of space on the hard drive. A side note: sometimes the computer loaded up when I'm copying, and my conductor ends up hanging up. However, it seems. P. S.2 It could suddenly stop being detected by the system, and then, if you're lucky, you'll be able to restore the data. Why do I need a piece of software that makes that choice for me? It fails in its primary purpose, which is to save your files in a safe location on your hard drive.

Perfect for backing up my computer

Perfect for backing up my computer. I'm not very computer savvy, but I needed to save documents and photos. Now I don't have to worry about losing them if something happens to my computer.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some bugs

USB cable connected and music transferred (ProTools sessions). man, that's fast. Used it to see if it would support playing one of my songs with 50+ tracks. It does, and the song loads faster than my other old CDs. I can't believe how small it is, it fits in my pocket easier than my phone. No need to connect a power cord, it's almost as convenient as a flash drive.

Pros
  • So far satisfied
Cons
  • I'll write later

It barely lasts

500G works but you can't tell if it's on or not. The carefully hidden blue LED is not immediately visible; it is small, narrow and buried in a sunken line. If you don't know this, you can start by turning the disc upside down and the LED will show no activity at all or turn on or off.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Used to backup the entire hard drive of an old computer to install the necessary files on a new computer. Worked great! Worth the price.

Large stock, small package.

Large volume; ideal when moving from an old computer (storage and file transfer) to a new computer; lots of space for music and photos.

  • Fits many
Cons
  • Some difficulties
