I wanted something that was longer in the front so as to not worry about revealing my carry firearm, OWB. The material is really light, which is exactly what I wanted. I have a similar (but not so long in the front) shirt that I wear as layer 1 and tuck inside my pants, then put my holster on and throw this shirt over it, as layer 2 and then I can wear pretty much anything "normal" on top of layer 2. I wear my carry firearm between layers 1 and 2 so that the holster isn't directly on my skin.
