I chose this speaker because my other two speakers didn't match very well. One of the two is any fairly cheap but small speaker, the other is a 12-watt midrange driver (Anker Soundcore 2). To be honest, I've only cranked it up to maximum volume a few times (and then just to convince myself and show others how loud a speaker can be!) and that was more than enough. I've never had to crank the volume above 60-70 percent, but I can say with confidence that the sound is still VERY good at maximum volume. When I received this speaker I was very concerned that the sound would be distorted at higher volumes but as it turns out it sounds pretty much the same. I've seen in other reviews that it cuts the bass when it gets louder, and while I can't confirm that (I'm not sure how you can even say it cuts the bass), it sounds in the highs Frequencies just as well. volume as at low volume. And the bass is honestly surprisingly good for a speaker of this size. This will definitely be my favorite speaker from now on. Other Specifications: The battery life is excellent. I've only had to charge it once in the few days I've had it and I've used it quite a bit. Bluetooth connectivity is better than any of my other speakers. It seems to have very few problems with walls. MicroSD card slot - I don't find them very handy, but it's worth noting that they are there and I don't see them mentioned in the specs. NFC - I never found Bluetooth pairing difficult, but it seems like it will be a useful feature for some. To be honest I was tempted to buy another one of these speakers to play around with the stereo sound feature. That looks pretty cool. This is definitely a buy if you're looking for a reasonably sized, very powerful, clear speaker with great battery life.
